I placed an order yesterday morning. My issue with the phone, though not critical was enough of an annoyance that I had thought about canceling my contract. Many have taken advantage of this service, but this can only improve Sprint's tarnished customer service.

I received a confirmation e-mail at 11:20 AM yesterday. The 3.40 LB package is out for delivery today.

Everyone is getting theirs and I'm wondering where is mine...

The Assurion website still shows my current replacement claim (the TP is a replacement for the Mogul they sent me where the SD card slot doesn't read and the keyboard looks like they pryed it off with a crowbar). So my tracking information keeps showing up as days old....

We'll see if I get it today at all :|

So y'all have TEP? What's the deal if you don't have TEP? You used to just pay $50 w/o tep to swap a handset (which, to those who are math challenged, is about 8 months of TEP)

Even if it were $100 it would be a break even for me, as this mogul is about 14 months old.

Any ideas?

I believe for all of this to work, i.e,, get a replacement phone you need to have the TEP.

With the route as described in this thread there is no chanrge (you still need TEP), and if you call Asurian it is $50.

Hmm... per sprint's site:

So looks like worst case it's $120. Which is less then I would pay for an upgrade. I may give it a go.

Edit. Followup - w/o tep, it's $55.

I went through asurion, and have TEP. it took a whole 15 hours from my phone call, to receiving the touch pro. It was brand new in the box. I'm really liking this phone.

Question for before who returning the old phone, do you need to include all the accessories that came with it, including the battery?

I remembered it said something like returning just the phone with no battery when placing the replacement form on the web, but i am not so sure.
