I just ordered my replacement as well and got an email saying that it is a Touch pro. My claim was that it has the white spot in the lower left, which is true. I also routinely get a sticking keyboard. Very annoying.

Sweeeeeeeeet!!!!!!! I have the $7 TEP with Sprint...I went to the assurion website and filed my claim. At the end of the claim it said that my phone would be replaced with the HTC6850 Pro Touch. Then it said there was a problem with my claim and that I needed to contact assurion by phone. Once I called in her verified my info, talked about living in the city where I reside for small talk, and then explained that I would be receiving a brand new Touch Pro, because the Moguls are on back order ( we all know they are discontinued). I did however, had to cough up $50...in which he gave me the option to: Pay with Credit Card, Mail in payment, or post the $50 to my sprint account ( I opted for the post to sprint account). He then told me I could tracl my claim by using the assurion website, and that i effective immediately, my Sprint MOgul HTC6800 is now the property of assurion and when I receive my new phone I need to mail the mogul to them or I could be charged $350 tp my sprint account.

Well....... I finally got it to go throughn today on the website. I have the insurance and since this is my 3rd handset in the last 3 months, I guess I'm still under warranty so it cost me $0. My latest was actually brand new, in the box from Sprint in late December. But it shipped with the white spots and now they're growing across the screen. Too bad, because I really did love this phone. But I can't keep getting replacements (new or refurb'd) that have these problems. I tried the website a few times last week but it kept saying the Mogul was the replacement phone and I would cancel the order. But this morning, at 10:20 AM PST, I got the Touch Pro. I think I'm going to miss my Mogul, though. :-(

asurion still has 6700's and 6800's. I had some issues with a CSR and had to call like three times to get my broken 6700 replaced. Well someone screwed up and they sent me two phones. A 6700 AND a 6800... This was after I told them to forget it because I was sick of trying to understand their broken english and I would just drive to the repair center, where they gave me a Touch Pro.

question....for those who have recevied you phone, how long from the first confirmation email did it take...I did it on Sat. at around 6:00p central, when should i expect the phone...
also, i am trying to track it with the UPS reference thing, but it is not working either, somone had mentioned it won't show up for 24 hours, i assume this is business days as well... |

Alright looks like im in a pickle with the rest of us
was very excited about being offered a TP on the website, however when I called after receiving my email (waited 40 hours) its not in their system at all, one lady said she seen my number, but no other information about it. I know a few others have this issue, has anyone resolved it? |

It took me about 36 hours or so before I had any info on my order. I would give it till tomorrow afternoon. Have you gotten your confirmation e-mail yet?

alright I called and was sent all around today
Customer Care had no clue what the Self Service Solutions Tool was, they seen my order number ( the ET one) however couldnt see anything else they told me this is part of Tech Support and I need to go through them well I called tech support a few times and was disconnected should i just wait? I have the confirmation email however I head stories about people getting their TP before receiving their Tracking Information email hmmm still no tracking email, maybe I should wait... |

in the same boat. did the online thing on sat eve.. which may be the issue, i got my confirmation email almost immediately, but being saturday evening, adn then sunday, I really don't expect to hear anyhting until monday, well, monday is here is almost gone and UPS has no info, but hoping i have a gift on tuesday whe i get home.

I talk to Tech Support and they say that the phone could come by UPS or FedEx, but they can not see if it has shipped out yet.

The guy said the online site is different from their dept, and that he is having his supervisor help him out with it; and will give me a call back when they find out more info. Maybe i should have just let it be, and let the days pass by and see if it shipped getting pretty worried however, being its monday at 9pm if they were to ship it out, they would have shipped it by now which means its on its happy little way to my house. and even if they did try to swap to a mogul, i would still have a TP in the mail and would just send back both moguls woot *crossing fingers* |

Here's my confirmation email, guys. Sent within 5 minutes of my order. Note that they say 2-3 business days, but they ship UPS Standard Overnight. I assume that if your order is in early enough in the day at their shipping facility, you would see your new phone the following afternoon or evening. Standard Overnight with UPS just means sometime the following day. I assume Saturday and Sunday orders wouldn't even be shipped until Monday. I would also expect that (thanks to this thread alone!) they're good and busy, so chances are good that your phone doesn't ship until the day after you order it. That's just a guess though.
For everybody who's just blatantly lying about their phones being broken, note the end of the message, where is talks about sticking it to you if the phone has no issues. That's above and beyond the $200 they charge if you don't send the old handset back. I know they give you a range, but a few weeks ago when they were calling and hounding me about sending my previous Mogul in, the lady told me that these phones are $200 for failure to return. I actually have real issues with my Mogul however I must have found the worlds worst rep ever For my HTC Mogul they are sending me a 6900 thats right a TOUCH >:( not a touch pro, not a touch diamond, but the standard HTC Touch boy am I pissed, further more; it's on back order..... He said I will have to wait 7 - 14 days to receive my Htc Touch 6900...... and then pay 55$ and send in my mogul... WTF..... WTF!!!! The touch was going for about 99$ along side the mogul which was selling at 249 I am more than pissed over this... :-/ what do you guys recommend... I told the guy "Why a touch? it doesnt even have a keyboard... Thats why I paid all that extra money on a Mogul" He then said that It may not be a touch, it may turn out to be another mogul.. and that they are on back order...... but "most likely will be the 6900" I hope that I could fix this... cause I would be out my mogul, plus owe them 55$ for a refurbished 6900..... (I paid the extra money for the keyboard to begin with) :-/ what a rough night to top all of that off, my 2 year contract ended yesterday, February 1st.... You would think they would think over this and try to keep a customer, especially one that recently got off a 2 contract and could easily pick up and move to another network... I guess we will have to see how this plays out... |

:D I feel awfully bipolar now haha So it seems I have my Touch Pro coming in 2 days from my first attempt with "Self Service Replacement Phone Tools" and then the HTC Touch (6900) from ecare; so can I keep the TP, and send back the Touch and my treo? what if I get 2 TPs? |

OK so what do i do exactly i have been reading different posts and not sure what to do.
I have the mogul but want the Touch diamond or the Touch Pro. The Mogul is slow and it freezes up on me and i have to set the whole device for it to start working properly again and i have to go through the trouble of entering all my contacts into the phone. The phone's touch screen is messed up and i have calibrated it in Portrait, Landscape(right), and Landscape(left) and it does not correspond with the right thing i am trying to touch. So i want a touch diamond because i am about to through this phone out the window of my car. I have went to the sprint store and tried to get the to upgrade me for free but they said i havent had the phone long enough and id have to pay full retail price someone please help me I NEED THE DIAMOND i am willing to pay 30 bucks for the pro upgrade but it is not necessary. |

But the problem keeps persisting after that. so i have to Reset the whole device for it to work properly again. The screen also has a burn spot on it from the screen being too hot. I think I may have found out about this too late. I'm guessing all your Moguls are now Reconditioned because that's all that it is giving me when I go through the sprint one. i guess i can complain to retentions and they give in.

Just called Asurion on friday, they are definitely not out of Touch Pro's becuase they are sending me one now.
This has actually been a problem for me for a while, i had a Mogul that was having issues a few weeks ago, called to swap it out through the insurance and they said they were out of the moguls, and that they could offer me the next closes thing, either a touch or a touch diamond. i was very upset about this as i have big fingers and somewhat need a keyboard for typing. when i asked about the touch pro they said they would not send me one, my only options were the touch or the diamond. Long story short i had to accept the diamond which i have been using since then. friday i got so frustrated i called back to argue my point, that they did not send me the most compatible phone to my mogul, and that i needed a phone with a keyboard, flash on the camera, and a mem. card slot. i told them i wanted another mogul in place of the diamond, and that i did not ask to be upgraded and i wanted my old phone model back because i couldnt use this new one. after speaking with a supervisor they finally agreed to swap out the new diamond they sent me for a touch pro. it is in the mail as we speak. finally someone decided to do the right thing and handle the situation the way it was should have been. oh, i did initially have to pay the fifty dollars for the replacement phone through asurion. |

I found out I can clone my 30$ 500 min sero plan to another line.
So I think I may open a sero account for the wife (the good sero accounts, the ones you cant get anymore) and pop that TP on her account.. if all else fails she could get my old 700wx. |
