im just gonna clear something up and also cause i dont want to read 4 full pages.
the Gs are not dependent by bandwidth, its by the technology used. NTT Docomo in japan already tested 100.00 Mbps over a year ago, maybe even more. by that time there was no LTE, no WiMax, no UMB was mentioned by that time. even now EDGE reached twice its regular bps and its still 2G or 2.5G.
