Re: How To: Use another carriers HTC on VZW

Verizon won't add the ESN to their database, I tried for several days and multiple calls said they could or would not add it. I had to change the ESN to my existing VZW phone....

Re: How To: Use another carriers HTC on VZW

I seem to be stuck on step 6 for loading the DMU
Quote:
Put phone in dm mode ##diag talk and load bitpim or qpst and load a vzw dmu key into the dmu folder on the phone. **UPDATE** added a public dmu key a few post down (post #4) so u guys that don't have any existing vzw phones can get on the network.** Some 6800's you can only do this with qpst. Highlight the dmu folder and right click and pick add new file and browse to where you saved the 10.key on your pc then load it via qpst or bitpim to phone.
I connected the phone to the computer in dm mode and opened QPST and read from the phone but I don't see DMU folder anywhere in qpst. Can someone help me find it? What tab is it on? I think I am close to getting this done but am just stuck on that step. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: How To: Use another carriers HTC on VZW

Can anyone confirm that this method still works? (As of April 2010) I'd like to move a Sprint Touch Pro or Touch Pro 2 phone to Verizon.

That's a shame. So much for Verizon's "open network", huh?

NEED HELP. Can't find any MOGUL 6800 info

I have a Sprint Mogul 6800 that I flashed to a local carrier (Pocket) a competitor to Cricket, and I don't know how to use the Internet now...It keeps trying to login to Sprint and I get the error "Cannot connect for unknown reason." I don't know ANYTHING about how to go about changing settings etc... Can anyone help?

If there is anything that can help me? I am attempting to do this now but I have vista. Is there a way to get my phone to show on com2. I have an alltel UTStarcom PPC6700. Thanks in advance!
