T-Mobile doesn't automatically throttle everyone at 5 gigs either. They just put in the fine print that they can, just like Sprint puts in the fine print that they can too. Neither one of us personally know anyone that has had it happen to them on either carrier.
And for the record (again) I have an Evo. Everyone assumes that since I don't bow and praise Sprint in every imaginable way that I must not have Sprint.
The fact is, in my area, I have at least decent coverage from all the carriers. So any of the carriers would work for me. When I see someone say something like "it's a fact that Sprint is cheaper, faster, and has better 4G coverage than everyone else" I will set the record straight.
