Re: SERO Premium Success Stories

just called my local sprint corp store. the rep told me they're not trained on sero premium and my only option is the 99 everything plan. sounds like some corp stores can't do the upgrade.

Edit: I had to get this done at a corporate Sprint owned store, at first they had no clue. Tech told me SERO wasn't available anymore. The floor manager also said no, but would call national sales to make sure. Took less than 10 mins to get it done from the moment I walked in. Excellent service. Take in mind I had called in and made sure each of the 4 reps I spoke with made notes in my account yesterday. Last guy called me back 3 times because they couldn't find a valid employee care #. He had 3 supervisors confirm I had to go to the store to have the switch made, because employee care no longer exists.

P.s. Dialing *2 puts me with employee accounts.... lol
like Boodaddy said...losing the discount is a major deal breaker for me too. and that sucks how going to the premium, you lost some other perks.

You have to keep in mind that technically if you have SERO, you're not supposed to have any discounts to begin with as it's an already discounted plan. Just something to consider for those with SERO with discounts looking into upgrading to SERO Premium.

ALL corp stores can do the "upgrade", they are ALL trained in calling "National Sales", which is who actually does the "upgrade" for them... YMMV

Now that said, not ALL Sprint Reps are aware of what's going on... Who reads those darn memos anyways?

Just to make a clarification, I lost the 5pm N&W perk when I got the EVO and was switched to Everything Data 450.. Not by going to SERO Premium. They were just not able to put it back either, is what I was stating (unfortunately the SOC code is gone from the system).

As for my other discounts, they never worked well together, I had to call in every month to have my account/bill adjusted/credited. Huge hassle and waste of resources.

Being back on a SERO account, even though it is more than before, is nice. Considering now I can actually have an updated phone on the service and most of my calls are to Cell Phones, the ANY-all is great!

yeah already knew that. but why rock the boat when the discount was applied by sprint when they weren't supposed to...right?

i don't blame you for trading off the monthly hassle for an updated phone. if i was in your same situation...i'd most likely be thinking/saying the same thing.

Re: SERO Premium Success Stories

If and when Sprint removes my discount, I may look at upgrading to SERO premium.

I will only upgrade this plan if the next version of Window Mobile 7 phone require it.

Re: SERO Premium Success Stories

I had a great experience, but rep had to do a little research since she was unaware of the new offer. I lower my $50 sero plan to the $30 plan then added premium and went with the evo... kind og break even, right?
