So after reading this thread, it looks like it would be possible to go from SERO Premium -> SERO with a little effort. Wish me luck!

Actually that would be, from SERO to SERO Premium, not the other way around. Once you go premium there is no going back.

You should be able to go back to SERO from SERO Premium. From what I gather, the "Premium" is just a simple plan add-on. You are not changing you base plan (which would be SERO). You just call and request to remove the "premium" add-on.

I think Russ even covered this in his blog post.

You're mixing up a bit. Premium DATA is an add-on, but SERO Premium is a whole 'nother plan. Once you are removed / change from SERO, they can't put you back on it because it doesn't exist in the system as a plan anymore.

This is what happened to me, and since I wasn't told or warned and the rep wasn't aware I would not be able to be put back if I decided not to stay with the plan within my 30 days, they had to put me on a current plan and heavily discount it to make up for the difference.

Yes it is a different plan and yes you can go back within 30 days and probably longer if you find the right rep. Best thing is to just be prepared to keep sero-p for awhile if you switch.

SERO plan code in not available in the system as much as the best rep you can get would love to put you back on, it's not an option they have..

I would recommend you make 100% sure before you make any changes, before taking the advice of hear say..

reply said that Russ verified and customers can switch back and forth between premium and basic plan of SERO (with the use of the proper type of phone - iconic for premium and non-iconic for basic) whenever they wanted.

Sure enough, Russ McGuire said it as plain as can e. You are free to go back to SERO from SERO Premium at any time.

So why was clockcycle having so many issues switching back?
