After playing with the Moment for a couple weeks I've decided to do the opposite and switch to Virgin Mobile for the Samsung Intercept. I know it's a cheap Android phone but you can't beat $25/mo unlimited everything. I'd consider paying $10/20 more a month but I have 2 lines and just can't pay that much more for a phone that's a little better...

It looks like you only get 300 minutes for $25/month. 1200 minutes=$40/month. But if you don't use many minutes that may be the way to go!

Yes it's 300min but unlimited VOIP!
Don't forget about tethering too

Any word on whether it will have the same specs as the Sprint version, Which is a Downgrade from the Moment?

Keep in mind that it's $25/mo at MOST. There are discounts online and tax/fees are included...

I've been on Winmo since like...the winmo 5.0 days and had the bulky thing with an antenna sticking out on the top and quite honestly, it was the shiznit(!), when I first had it (whoever dreamed of a phone with a touchscreen keyboard instead of buttons, and this phone has 32mb of RAM, HOLY SH!T- the insanity!)

But to be very honest, if MS got their act together in those days- the iOS or any other OS out there wouldn't stand a chance today and MS won't be playing the catch up game with WP7. Clearly there are thousands of other apps out there- just google up winmo freeware and you'll see a lot. If a "Marketplace" was made in those days, I'm almost positive it'd beat the App Store of the iPhone. But instead, MS sorta sat on their asses and didn't really do anything (don't yell at me for saying this stuff btw, I've had my fair share of Winmo devices)

Anyhow- I'm definitely jumping over to the Epic, it may not be all that better than TP2- but hey- at least I'll have the flash and can take pictures in a low lit restaurant or when I'm out for a night in town with my friends.

What I'll miss most are these forums and all the craziness we do to help each other make the best of our phones. Hope there's another friendly group when I jump ship to Android

If I am going to change, then I'll wait till the dual core 8x72 1.5 ghz processor or beter with wp7 comes out. I know it's going to be a 4g phone, hopefully NYC will have 4G by then.
