Re: SERO Premium
Losing my discount on the old SERO plan was what got me thinking about going SERO Premium and Evo in the first place. Without the discount, there's less incentive to stick with the old plan.

Re: SERO Premium
You aren't supposed to be able to do this. Even if you switch first, I believe the account would need to be re-coded again when you activate a 4G device. It's always possible you'll find someone at both RS and whoever they call at Sprint who will get it done for you, but the policy is that you have to purchase through Sprint owned channels.

Re: SERO Premium
the rep who switched me over said we will be able to activate online soon but not yet.
don't know what that means for RS and BB. best bet is to go to a sprint store and make them wait while you call in to activate or order online. i don't think you will have any luck at RS. |

As a SERO/Everything Plus customer, are there restrictions on where I can upgrade my device? Yes. You can upgrade through any of the following channels: any Sprint-owned Retail Store, Telesales (888-882-4030), or Sprint.com. You will not, however, be able to upgrade your device through a 3rd party dealer or national retail partner and you will not be required to provide a referring employee's email address and CID in order to upgrade your device. |

Of course it may be possible to get lucky and have the 3rd party employee call Sprint for you to switch your plan while manually adjusting the sale price of the phone. Don't count on this. From the crazy influx of success/failure of posts in the last two days, I'd advise against wasting your time on this. |

Re: SERO Premium
@ bkrodgers & quick99si: Ok, i didn't real the FAG but when the TP and TP2 came out a lot of people who had the SERO plan were upgrading their phones at BestBuy. Because BestBuy got them before any Sprint corporate or retail stores. And all was going well.

Re: SERO Premium
I just got shot down trying to upgrade my plan and phone at Radioshack. They said that the only way to upgrade was over the phone through telesales or through the website, which is not available yet. What is the price that everyone is paying for the Epic 4g through telesales? Pretty pissed that Radio Shack sells it for $219 with NO MIR, and Sprint is trying to charge me $350 with a 100 dollar MIR. How exactly is that 150 dollar upgrade credit something special when some schmuck off the street can buy the phone for the exact same price if Sprint has NEVER ever done business with him before??
