Re: Sero Premium and Best Buy

I have gone to best buy 3 times to re-up my sero, I dont fore see any problems in the future, they had to call a corporate number to finish the process. It was painless, took less than 20 minutes.

Re: Sero Premium and Best Buy

Two years ago I was able to do a device upgrade through BB on SERO. They had to call it in instead of using their normal system, but were willing to do it and Sprint let them. However, I wasn't aware at the time whether or not there was the kind of explicit policy statement against it that we see now. It'd be nice to be able to do it through BB for the instant rebate, the resulting lower sales tax, and the reward zone points.

Upgrading a phone is like upgrading a PC-you do it when you need it. Ive seen lots of people say theyre waiting til (insert date or technology here) but the fact is, when you wait till then, then (insert next technology here) will RIGHT around the corner!

Doesnt matter how long you wait, something will always be around the corner. If you "wait" till the next big thing comes out, you will never upgrade.

I know but just a few months ago my 528ghz diamond, tp1, tp2 were the best you could get. Just don't wanna upgrade then not be able to run the latest android. Although if Sprint had a 1ghz 3G phone I'd be on it. I can only wait so long though

Also I've seen that A LOT of apps aren't playing nice with samsung galaxy s and even though it's still early, there is much community support for the Epic (custom roms, mods, etc...)

This is correct. The difference between SERO 500 and SERO 1250 is the number of anytime minutes. Both plans are individual plans. Here is the link to switch between the two.

I am just going to throw this out there,

To me it sounds like the SERO Premium will be a whole different plan. They will first see if you have the old plan and then start you over with a 39.99 SERO premium plan. They will then add on the 10 dollars for 4G if needed.

What I just wrote is speculation from me as I did not read up on that. I would assume this makes everything easier for Sprint.

Re: SERO Premium

yup it is a new plan. the people who does not want to upgrade to the iconic devices (ie hero) can stay at the current plan they have. but even if they're still in contract and just want to go to the premium plan, they can just upgrade the plan to the premium for the navi and anytime any mobile feature on SERO premium. and with what you said...add the 4g if needed.

Good luck but you maybe ok when October comes and they could just easily give you the Premium by looking on past bills. They don't need to struggle with an old Sero plan with no codes to add it after October.
