450 minutes on Sprint is $69.99. 500 minutes on T-Mobile is $59.99. Both include unlimited messaging and smartphone data. Sprint requires a 2 year contract, T-Mobile does not require a contract at all. You asked who could match or beat it, well T-Mobile is $10 cheaper. And they still have faster data, better customer service, and the ease of SIM cards. They also have better phones than Sprint currently has. |

You can't call most businesses with free cell phone minutes, they use land lines (or VOIP, which counts as a land line). I text most people with cell phones anyway, rather than calling. T-Mobile's plan is absolutely comparable to Sprint's. Last edited by BlackDynamite; 05-06-2010 at 02:41 PM. |

And yes, voice mail does take your minutes. You might want to check that again. The plans are comparable man. Like I said, every business out there has a land line. So unlimited calls to cell phones only helps most people when they call their friends. Well i, like most on this board I'm sure, mostly text my friends. When I call someone, it is almost always a business (or the wife or kids, who are on my family plan anyway so those calls would be free either way). No matter how you spin it, 500 minutes on T-Mobile is absolutely comparable to 450 minutes on Sprint. And at $10 per month cheaper, one could easily argue that it matches it or even beats it. Oh yeah, and as for the phones- T-Mobile has the Nexus One and HD2 right now. They have also said they will be launching phones made specifically for their HSPA+ network before the end of the year. And the HD2 is the same thing as the Evo, only it's running Win Mo instead of Android. |

Only falls short to the ignorant. Again, most people with smartphones text people with cellphones anyway. But you can't text most businesses. And most businesses have land lines.
So if you are a smartphone user, T-Mobile's plans are as good or even better than Sprint's. And don't take my word for it, just take a look at the quarterly financials for each company. Sprint continues to lose customers while T-Mobile continues to gain customers. |
