Re: Finally went to blackberry
the best thing you can do if you can't figure it out is to just call Sprint. That's what i did with my tour. was having the same problem as you and that i was trying to get my old bb email address (but couldn't remember password so had to get another one). The rep unloaded the bb email address previously assigned to the phone and set it up with my chosen email address.

one more question and i'll stop with the questions on the email. Does anyone know if I will have to wipe my phone out? If so then I need to get my contacts down first and is there a place I can actually save my contacts through blackberry or anywhere that I can easily sync them incase I ever do come across losing my contacts for whichever reason. |

Re: Finally went to blackberry
I wouldn't think you have to wipe but you should back up anyway to be sure. Desktop manager does this for you. Plug in to PC run desktop manager and click the backup.
You can click advanced to only save your contacts or just run a straight backup. DM backups do not save 3rd party apps, but does save email, contacts, messages, layout and sound settings. |

Re: Finally went to blackberry
yeah good idea to back up your contacts. the sprint rep may ask you to wipe your device again.
