Why does everyone take these posts so personally?
Yes, the developers are awesome and deserve so many thanks!!!

But realistically, a full working TP2 Android port may not happen. That is always a real possibility.

This of course is in NO way a slight or an insult to any developer. It's just a realistic outcome considering how old the TP2 is getting and how more and more people moving on to newer devices.

Why even speculate? Technically the HD2's port isn't 100% complete. Who cares... So long as it's stable and I can get rid of WinMo, I'll be a happy camper.

Well what if you were working on a house or car for a few years and some DOUCHEBAG walks up while you're working on it and says " Hey man, you've been working on that for a few years now I PERSONALLY don't think you're going to finish that." You would get pissed and either cuss him out or kick his ass....same difference. lol, no joke. Also, because of said douche, usually the project gets finished even faster - perhaps that's what he's doin, a little reverse psychology.

Dude Jerome is at the cusp of getting bluetooth working, from my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong), but full NAND booting without an SD card is working.

So really, yes it's going to happen. However it's just not going to happen for your particular phone, just everyoe else's.

To add to this, in my opinion the only time this isn't going to happen is if your company allows dual usage of cell phones. i.e. your phone with the company's email. i know plenty of companies that do. Likely they will say the ported Android is not commercially supported at all, and they would flag it as a security risk and tell you to buy a fully fledged, commercial supported native Android phone.

I'm with everyone in that I hope it gets finished. BT and 3.5mm jack seem to be the last obstacles.

Now I don't know what the OP was really thinking but does everyone think these posts are insults??? I don't know if I'd take it that far. The anger and vitriol seems a bit much.

It's just a phone... and not even a new one. If it happens, awesome!
