There isn't a 'fully-functional' version of Android for the TP2. FRX06 is the closest you'll get at this point. hyc has been making a lot of improvements to Froyo, so the next build will largely be because of his work... and it will work much better, but I still wouldn't consider it a 'fully operating' Android port. There's still things that are not working - prox sensor, 3.5mm jack, GPS warm injection/XTRA info, etc.

With that said, it's getting pretty good - and honestly at this stage I think Android has surpassed WinMo for stability. It's geting close on speed.

I kinda wish a mod would close this thread, it's pointless and condescending. Devs are working hard, but it's not like we have hundreds of devs that are getting paid to spend 40-hour weeks on this project. Devs work on a volunteer basis, in their free time. Show some respect.

Well said... we do appreciate the countless hours freely given for the greater good here!

Pretty much everything is going on at XDA now:
Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Android Development - xda-developers

Only thing where PPG is on the forefront is NAND development.

If you don't want to follow XDA, my issues and workarounds threads has links to pretty much all the updates.

Stop trolling Jer Shoot me a text and I'll tell you all about the set up I'm running on my trusty ol' TP2. Granted it's not the stock FRX06 but I can confirm what arrrghhh said as far as stability being equal to or better than winmo (except of course Mr. X's 6.5 ROMs lol).

Re: Looks like a fully operating ANDROID OS on the TP2 isn't gonna happen anymore...

Looks like this thread has run its course. It stopped being useful (if it ever was) so I am going to shut this puppy down.

Thanks again to the devs who work to make this device still relevant and continuing to develop on their free time.

For real updates on what does/doesn't work check out the stickies and the OPs in the dev sub-forum.
