Do you know when this will packaged up into a new distribution? I think FRX06 was released primarily to use a different dialer over FRX05. If this RIL is a major improvement should it warrant a FRX07?

It is being worked on very hard as we speak. Please be patient. The devs have a lot going on that will be committed and prepared when it is stable. There will be a new release when it is ready.

Re: Looks like a fully operating ANDROID OS on the TP2 isn't gonna happen anymore...
Since this thread was bumped anyway, I'll mention that my carrier finally got a decent QWERTY Android phone (HTC Merge), so I grabbed one (almost a week before it officially went on sale) and I've been very, very pleased with it. It's only 800 MHz, but scores better than many 1 GHz phones on benchmarks (1300 Quadrant score). I might still have use for a stable Android on my TP2, maybe for the kids to use, but I'm just ecstatic having a rock-solid phone that performs so well.

If you're looking for something on the Thunderbolt, you're in the completely wrong thread.
