I agree I like sense but won't complain if its left out for better performance.

Re: MAGLDR being ported to Rhodium ***UPDATED with VIDEO***

In comparing WinMo and Android, it seems Sense is only useful on WinMo <=6.5 because WinMo 6.5 is such a crappy, outdated interface. I'm not really seeing what Sense buys you in Android that the default doesn't already. If anything, it's a resource hog through and through. Though sadly, in general it seems the 3D chip in TP2s are too slow for our higher resolution screens.

If anything, Sense from HTC is more of a branding tool in regards to UI appearance for their phones to stand out and be unique.

The HERO and TP2 are similiar, but it makes sense that Sense won't run on our phones due to the higher resolution, but it will on the Hero...

IMO, WinMo is a dead, deprecated platform, so I'd be curious why you wouldn't want Android in NAND running full time with additional access to SD cards.

Agreed.

I think the masses were asking for Sense 2.2 build, as all we have for the Sense nuts is 2.1...

However, it is a slow pig. Don't fret - Cotulla is still working on MAGLDR for our phones, but he's putting Sense aside for the time being. Unfortunately information about progress is trickling out instead of flooding out, but sometimes that's just how development goes.

Yea, sounds like Cotulla is only going to work on GSM RHOD's. I did predict that in the first place... I usually like being right, but in this case I would have rather have been wrong. But since the differences between particular RHODs seem great, it's not so easy to make something that works for all.

That would be amazing. Good luck getting him to provide any source to MAGLDR tho... DFT won't do it.

they won't publish it to the public, but for a fellow bootloader hacker who seems to be better with CDMA he might, remember too that cmonex and elite team aren't exactly the paragon of "sharing" when it comes to their own binaries. Maybe this could be a group effort, Elite DFT ftw.

Yea, that is a good point. I guess it can't hurt to ask... It's kind of a moot point, until MAGLDR is 'done'/released for TP2.
