3-5hrs is not unheard of if you're a 'heavy' user. These types of users can't make it thru a full day on a native Android device, so you'll have no hope on a ported one. As for "light" usage, which is what I would classify my usage as - I can easily go 12+ hours. It all depends on your usage...
Also, widgets & apps that autoupdate are going to kill your battery. The more frequently they update, the quicker it will kill your batt. Keep these to a minimum. Thanks arrghhh. I just realized, I had FRX07 and not 06. I'm by no means a heavy user. I imagine there are apps that continue to run even though I've closed the window; not to used to how the apps works or close yet. I did have the setting to not update automatically, but still saw a drain. I'll take a look at your speed improvements. I can only hope to get at least 8-10hrs.
