Also, if wifi worked before, you shouldn't need the wifi-nvram trick either. What is the problem exactly? I don't think I've seen any logs from the failure... I wonder if it's a simple module mismatch. |

Re: Simple Guide 11/11 Android on SD card! 4 Easy Steps (15 min): TP2 DL lnks (FRX07
Well the problem was everytime I turn on wifi and when I go to set up, it says 'unable to scan'. I did go to the ConnectBot that I installed, and did the following step:
Open a terminal window, and type: su mount -o remount,rw /system find /lib/modules/ -type l -delete Then reboot. The modules will be unpacked on next boot. I had to find my server which was thescotts7@xx.xxx.xx.xx:22 but I couldn't do it as ssh, but as a local host. After I did the reboot, nothing happens, the same old thing. Then, I found another step, which I downloaded the wifi-nvram.txt file and added my MAC address in the macaddr line, renamed the file to wifi-nvram and added it into my sdcard as: sdcard/andbootfrx07.1/ of my card. So I did follow the following steps: su cp /sdcard/wifi-nvram.txt /data/wifi-nvram.txt After doing that, I get: Cp: cannot stat ' /sdcard/wifi-nvram.txt': No such file or directory I tried: /sdcard/andbootfrx07.1/wifi-nvram.txt /data/wifi-nvram.txt (hoping it would work) It didn't do anything. Does it mean it worked? |

Update! After doing the /sdcard/andbootfrx07.1/wifi-nvram.txt /data/wifi-nvram.txt
I turned on wifi and the next thing you know, I saw my connection! Thanks so much for everything you guys do! I finally fixed it. |

OK, after doing a unsuccessfully searching on the site for guidance on how to get Bluetooth working in FRX07.1, I thought I'd ask for help - if there's a FAQ or guide I should reference, please point me in the right direction - I'm happy to read for myself if it's available!
What I'm seeing is when I attempt to enable Bluetooth on my RHOD500 running 7.1, the Bluetooth turns on momentarily, then turns itself back off. Then back on. And the cycle will continue as long as I'm willing to allow it to run. I checked to make sure that Bluetooth was working correctly in WinMo (it is), so I don't think it's a hardware issue. Any suggestions? TIA, Gremlin |

However, BT doesn't work so well yet in Android. It's flaky at best. |

As for MMS, you have to configure your APN for your provider. |
