a) you're booting Android with WinMo in Airplane Mode, yes?

b) you've verified (in Android or WinMo) that you are indeed on radio 2.37WV?

2.37WV sucks. You want to install radio 2.32WF. It handles roaming a lot better in places where their a weak but unusable non-roaming signal. I would never switch back to 2.37.

You're literally the first person who has said 2.37 sucks. Every single other person has said 2.37 fixes a lot of issues, and it has for me as well...

Soooo ok? I'm going to stick with what works for me, you stick to what works for you. 2.37WV works much better than 2.32. Perhaps you just need a PRL update dude...

Seriously read thru the OMGB thread and see how many people have praised 2.37... It's outrageous.

no i havnt been boot android in airplane mode. guess the might be the trick then. and yes i did get the radio flashed to 2.37wv. went back and flashed 2.32wu back on. hell i have been running on 2.23wu with out a problem for a while. i run att go phone when in certain areas but realy dont need to. uscc has been service in those areas anyway. ill give airplane mode a chance. cut me some slack i have been deployed for the last year and i am a little out of date on things.

Another finding. Wifi does not work or barely works when the screen is off though wifi is set to never sleep. As soon as the screen turns on, wifi packets immediate goes through. It seems the wifi is in some sleep or low power mode when the screen is off though wifi connection is alive. On latest kernel and rootfs.

Yup, well known bug. There's even a bug on the tracker - just no one has looked into it specifically (or at least extensively). Feel free to poke around with what's going wrong, it's certainly a bug.

Certainly.

We'd truly be nowhere without enterprising developers like ACL who has for the most part been working solo on getting the tricky part of flashing Android natively working well. Hats off to him, and the countless other developers like him - I can't even begin to think about how much actual time these guys have put cumulatively over the years into this project.

So long as they keep going, this project will always continue to improve. The dedication is incredible!

Something I think is not mentioned much and should be is if you use the Android ports, its common courtesy to donate to [ACL] and arrrghhh isn't going to complain but he's pretty modest and deserves donations too.
