7-zip will extract anything you could possibly imagine. Probably more ;).

What are you changing...? I'm betting you either a) skipped the ts-calibration step or b) aren't putting everything at the root of the SD card, and you have rel_path wrong or not set in startup.txt. That should be the only reason you're mucking with the startup.txt if you're just starting...

Either follow the directions in the first post here (teradog provides a ts-calibration file), or follow the first post in my FRX07.1 thread, there are several options for calibration - including a manual option. Just follow the steps very carefully.

Easiest way is to use your Google account and just sync with it.

So you have two choices - backup all your contacts in WinMo using PIMBackup or something similar, and sync WinMo with your Google Account. That should import all your contacts, then just sync Android with your Google account, and they'll both stay in sync that way.

The other method would be exporting all your contacts with Outlook if you sync with Outlook. Then import the contacts to GMail, and sync your phone with your Google Account. Pick your poison.

anyone got it going with Cricket? I've tried FRX07 but don't see anything once I access APN settings. No buttons to create new APN.

As with anything in Android - if you don't see an option that should be there, hit MENU (WinKey on our phones) and you shall find the hidden secrets.
