I find that if U want to OC, you can change “acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=716800” by “acpuclock.oc_freq_mhz=716” I tried it it works for me!!!

lol... you've now got rep
Now... use the other 3 numbers & see if it locks up on you :laughing6:

BTW: I've attached a calibration file that's been working great for me for months on many builds to post #1. Sprint TP2. Feel free to DL, unzip with 7zip (free DL) & put in your SD card same place as haret.exe. It should work fine... I have no idea when I made it or acquired it at this point... it works for me & I just transfer each new build.

10 min is too much, around/less than 5

what i'd do in order
  • delete the data.img file
  • rename the windows\startup dir to 1startup
  • reboot
  • run haret right away
  • repeat a couple of times.. ensure nothing loads auto on the windows side, no overclock
  • use the startup.txt file i post... (highlight it, right click, copy, open notepad on your pc, paste it on your PC into notepad, file save as, startup.txt, copy to sd card same dir as haret
  • don't use the OC statement I use in the startup on first boot
  • pop in another sd card & try or reformat the one your on using the format tool i linked or the one on xdandroid site
  • repeat again
  • pop out SIM just in case
  • re DL file & unzip again
  • repeat first few steps..
You shouldn't need to do anything else... although there's more... read the first couple sections under **** STOP **** "if it doesn't work " before roman numeral II.

You can also use a magnifying glass also to read what the last couple lines were prior to it stopping... I've done it before & saw that I'd forgot to copy over some of the individual files doing a incremental upgrade... but if you dl'd the entire build this shouldn't be an issue... but may give you a hint at what you did wrong.

I am, or am I... A recurring retard? I have frx06 running great, DL'd 07, I save the 06 in a folder in SDcard, just in case 07 fails or anything like I usually can move files and dual boot if I have other hiccups.

Akwaysm I run from andboot folder. Anyway, I moved the andboot and folder called "android" from root (like I been doing) to storage filder of my choice. extract 07 to the andboot folder. Then ran haret like I have done a million times, but this time, it never gets done booting, never makes an android folder in root?

did I do something wrong? that I must have forgotten?

So, then I copied the android folder from my 06 back to root, then it booted, but now I fear Im running half and half (06 and 07)? It booted and the phone is cleaned out as far as I can tell.

Could I just copy some files to an 06 setup I have running to be on 07? (maybe I missed a link about this, then?)

Thanks Ya All!

Seriously sounds like you skipped/missed the calibration step.

Thanks Arrrghhh, I looked all over for that because I knew that I'd seen it before. I need some sleep! I actually tried deleting the calibration file but it didn't prompt me to re-calibrate. I installed the one from the link and it works great. Now I just need to read the faq's about why my LED stays on all the time!

1. Look in post #1 under ****** STOP ****** there are 3 checklists there. Go through them.
2. Look up one post from yours... do you have calibration file in the same directory (\, or \andboot, or \andboot07, etc..) as the entire build? Also a startup.txt file?
