i did try to input the uscc apn settings. it wouldnt save. any ideas? as for the radio is that a verizon radio? will it work on us cellular?

I'd say it'll work on any RHOD400/500. Works on my Sprint RHOD400, which isn't even sold by VZ - they sell the 500.

If the APN doesn't save, you're not entering the correct settings.

i got the apn setting set up. as for the radio, the one i found on here looks like it will completely change out the rom and radio. i have updated the radio before and it just like which radio is to be updated. but this one has a completely different image than just the radio. can you point me in the right direction? thanks.

ok now does the update utility just update the radio or is it a full rom? usally when i flash the radio it tells me what radio is going to be updated, ie 2.23.00, 2.32.00. the ruu gives a completly different number than 2.37.00.

I always flash via SD. I can tell you the link I provided is only for the radio, no ROM.

I tried to program the contacts with phone card's access number, PIN and found that DTMF sending was not working. An example, try to dial *2,,,,,,,,1 or *2,,,,,,,,your_10_digit_number if you are with Sprint, you'll notice the IVR does not recognize the DTMF sent by the phone. However, if you press the button on the sreen to send DTMF manually, it works.

ok thanks. i tried to flash from the sd. but it wouldnt. goes to bootloader and thats it. i did check the flash from sd thread on how to do it. still and nogo on flashing from sd.

Other than formatting the card to FAT32, I've never had a problem flashing from SD.

i just get stuck in bootloader. doesnt do any once there. my card is formated right, so who knows. i havnt found the answer yet.
