Re: Simple Guide FRX07!!, 6 Easy Steps (15 min): XDANDROID TP2 DL links
Okay, it seems to be working now. I was worried because it got stuck on that XDANDROID animation for about 10 loops, but then it booted. Is that normal?
Also, it gave me a message about "com android" failing and I had to do a force close. I'm not sure what that means, but I've made a successful phone call. Eventually I'll get this thing running smoothly! Thanks! |

Re: Simple Guide FRX07!!, 6 Easy Steps (15 min): XDANDROID TP2 DL links
Ok, so this is my first attemt with android on my sprint tp2. I installed an am running from a folder on my sd card. Android will boot ok, but my touch screen is 180 out. If I swipe right the screen go's left and vice versa. To select the phone button I have to press the opposite position on the top of the screen. Anyone have any ideas? I installed the whole bundle using option b on the first page and I grabbed the RHOD400 startup.txt file and put it in the folder with HAREt.exe in it. There is a ts-calibration file here too.

I find that if U want to OC, you can change “acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=716800” by “acpuclock.oc_freq_mhz=716” I tried it it works for me!!!

Now... use the other 3 numbers & see if it locks up on you ![]() BTW: I've attached a calibration file that's been working great for me for months on many builds to post #1. Sprint TP2. Feel free to DL, unzip with 7zip (free DL) & put in your SD card same place as haret.exe. It should work fine... I have no idea when I made it or acquired it at this point... it works for me & I just transfer each new build. Last edited by teradog; 07-22-2011 at 02:43 PM. |

Re: Simple Guide FRX07!!, 6 Easy Steps (15 min): XDANDROID TP2 DL links
Thanks Arrrghhh, I looked all over for that because I knew that I'd seen it before. I need some sleep! I actually tried deleting the calibration file but it didn't prompt me to re-calibrate. I installed the one from the link and it works great. Now I just need to read the faq's about why my LED stays on all the time!

Re: Simple Guide FRX07!!, 6 Easy Steps (15 min): XDANDROID TP2 DL links
dl frx07 zip again, unzip on pc, copy to a DIFFERENT SD CARD
copy a startup.txt (mine on 1st post via highlight & paste into notepad, saveas, startup.txt) & dl the calibration file I linked in post 1, ensure they both get copied to the SAME PLACE! rename your \windows\startup directory reboot use a file manager (file explorer, total commander, etc) to run haret as soon as your tp2 boots. Then tell us what you see (the old 1gig card that came with the tp2 should work just fine) IF your build hangs for 10 min, THEN make sure you delete the data.img file EACH & EVERY time you try to run it again after it hangs. Try this 3 more times. (delete data.img, reboot, run haret) I'd be absolutely shocked to see it not work if you follow those very simple steps to the tee.. ~good luck Last edited by teradog; 07-24-2011 at 03:21 PM. |
