Re: PSFreedom for Rhodium
Apparently, usb diagnostic was all it was required.
Edit: According to the info posted at http://psfreedom.com/wiki/HTC_Raphael Details It's a kernel 2.6.27 with a msm72k driver backported from Bravo's (Desire) 2.6.34 kernel (thanks to jonpky from htc-linux for that). Also, psfreedom module has slightly modified timers so it changes devices quicker (Diamond is slow ). Last edited by hansk75; 09-09-2010 at 11:32 AM. |

so I dont have a PS3, but my boy does and he has an Intercept- think this would work for him?? or do you need to be on Froyo?
EDIT - so i was reading some of the xda page, and how/why is this working?? everything says you need to be rooted-which apparently isnt so if you guys are doing it on your TP2 Android builds.. just curious is all.. i know PS3 people have been wanting this for a while, so Im just trying to up my knowledge base

Re: PSFreedom for Rhodium
I tried several times last night and was NOT able to get it to to work. I'm running Blazn 2.2 on my Sprint TP2.
I plugged my phone to my laptop and sync with Activesync. Then I would copy over those 3 files (zimage/modules/psfreedom.ko) to the SDcard. Then boot Haret and after it loaded up entirely, I would unplug the USB cable from my laptop. Then I would run the code in the Terminal Emulator app and it didn't give me any errors so I suppose it was working fine. Then I plugged the USB cable into the PS3 and turned on the PS3 from the back. Then I quickly pressed the power button and the eject button. The screen would take longer to load up so I guess it SEEMS like it's working. But how the hell do you get the manager.pkg file to show up in the Game section of the XMB?? Does the manager.pkg file need to be on my phone or on another USB. Someone please help! |
