PSFreedom for Rhodium

Here is the link to the XDA thread.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=772795

I have tested with my Rhod400 w/ Blzn 2.2 and it works perfect!

Apparently, usb diagnostic was all it was required.

Edit: According to the info posted at http://psfreedom.com/wiki/HTC_Raphael

Details
It's a kernel 2.6.27 with a msm72k driver backported from Bravo's (Desire) 2.6.34 kernel (thanks to jonpky from htc-linux for that). Also, psfreedom module has slightly modified timers so it changes devices quicker (Diamond is slow ).

3.41

You might have to find it on the net and update it. Sony is pushing 3.42.

so I dont have a PS3, but my boy does and he has an Intercept- think this would work for him?? or do you need to be on Froyo?

EDIT - so i was reading some of the xda page, and how/why is this working?? everything says you need to be rooted-which apparently isnt so if you guys are doing it on your TP2 Android builds.. just curious is all.. i know PS3 people have been wanting this for a while, so Im just trying to up my knowledge base

The Android ASOP allowed root access by default. No reason to build a locked one since no one wants it.

Re: PSFreedom for Rhodium

Im pretty new to the scene and cant find any answers elsewhere. Can someone please give me some advise on how to accomplish jailbraiking my ps3 with Touch Pro 2? I have had one successful attempt and I installed backup manager and ftp. Then I shut off the unit as I went to sleep, woke up and tried it again and it does not work anymore. I pretty sure I am doing everything the same way I did the 1st time. I boot xdandroid while synced and then open dev tools and enter the commands correctly. I then plug in the usb with the unit shut off (fat ps3) and then turn on the unitpower switch and press power then eject like super fast. So I think I am doing everything correctly? I have no other usb devices connected, no game in drive. Also do you got to have the phone synced everytime you run the above mentioned process everytime for this to work? Someody please helps. Thanks!!!
