Re: PSFreedom for Rhodium

3.15 was the last version of firmware that allowed you to still install Linux. 3.21 and above takes that feature away for FAT PS3's

I plugged my phone to my laptop and sync with Activesync. Then I would copy over those 3 files (zimage/modules/psfreedom.ko) to the SDcard. Then boot Haret and after it loaded up entirely, I would unplug the USB cable from my laptop. Then I would run the code in the Terminal Emulator app and it didn't give me any errors so I suppose it was working fine. Then I plugged the USB cable into the PS3 and turned on the PS3 from the back. Then I quickly pressed the power button and the eject button. The screen would take longer to load up so I guess it SEEMS like it's working.

But how the hell do you get the manager.pkg file to show up in the Game section of the XMB?? Does the manager.pkg file need to be on my phone or on another USB. Someone please help!

Where did you find the 3 individual files at? I downloaded the HD2 Android version from the link in the first post but I don't see psfreedom.ko. Thanks.

Nevermind, found them. Now time to try this out.

I pretty sure I am doing everything the same way I did the 1st time. I boot xdandroid while synced and then open dev tools and enter the commands correctly. I then plug in the usb with the unit shut off (fat ps3) and then turn on the unitpower switch and press power then eject like super fast. So I think I am doing everything correctly? I have no other usb devices connected, no game in drive. Also do you got to have the phone synced everytime you run the above mentioned process everytime for this to work? Someody please helps. Thanks!!!

Same here. I got it to work once and installed Backup Manager. Now I can't seem to get it to work again. Everytime it boots I can see Backup Manager but not the 2 Jailbreak programs. If I run Backup Manager I receive an error. Anyone out there got this working more than once on Sprint TP2? Thanks.

I have tested with my Rhod400 w/ Blzn 2.2 and it works perfect!

So which one is working for you:

HTC HD2 - PSFreedom Wiki (assuming you used the HD2 Android package choice from your xda link)

OR

PSFreedom for HTC Touch (Raphael) & Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 | PS3 Hacks :: PS3 Homebrew :: PS3 Downloads

I've seen some talk about the 3 files listed above and using the Android Terminal but I don't see anything about that in the xda link you provided. Any info is appreciated.
