What phone? RHOD400/500? Have you updated your radio firmware?

The kernel has little to no effect on your ability to make/receive calls. Hence why I asked about the radio firmware, because there was an issue recently and it was established that everyone who is on older firmwares need to get up-to-date on the newest.

I won't link you any, since I don't know what phone you have. If you have a RHOD400/500, I would recommend the 2.37 VZ radio.

ebay search "HTC extusb" and grab one of these boxes. Granted you have to take it apart and cut a wire, but it works!

Well, and get an "iPod video cable" for 3.5mm -> TV out cable that will work.

Do we have an idea of which panels it works and it does not?. I just spend the last week having people test this and most claimed it work. The touch pro2 happens to be more advanced in this area than other devices actually. The novatek hardware in the tp2 can do autobacklight sensing directly on the panel in a closed loop more. Meaning there is no code needed to adjust the backlight once its enabled on the panel. Problem is that panel needs to be configured right but as we all know the tp2 has about 5 different panels. So maybe not all were covered.

I finished the light sensor code but have not committed it. After a discussion with the kernel brethren it seemed useless knowing the panels adjust themselves. Only devices like Kovsky might benefit since they don't appear to have the same closed loop mode like the tp2.

Re: Workarounds/known issues 7/22: Updated for FRX07

Hi,
I just tried FRX07 from the 4 step process thread for Sprint. I can boot into XDAndroid. However my touchscreen doesn't work. I can't unlock the phone from the screen. I can with the Windows button. I tried different SD cards and with/without the SIM card. Anyone know why it doesn't work with my TP2?

Re: Workarounds/known issues 7/22: Updated for FRX07

did you use the 5 little white boxes to "align" your touch screen? if not that is what it is.

boot to windows fine the TSCALIBRATION file delete it.

reboot back to android it will DURING THE LINUX text crawl on boot present you with the 5 squares to align. its sensitive to be careful.

then you should be good to go.

its weird actually it should not NEED to be. it should halt the install and have a message on the screen telling you what to do. by glitch or by accident (maybe I touched the screen??) it "skipped" it when I did my install.

Re: Workarounds/known issues 7/22: Updated for FRX07

I'm having an issue with signal at work. When I was running frx06 my signal meter would show 2 bars at the machine I operate, now in frx07 I'm lucky to get one. When outside I get more bars but almost never full, I read an old thread that suggested flashing another radio but I would rather avoid this if possible. Also when connecting to my email it fails to connect sometimes and I must manually refresh, is that normal?
