SMS stops working after a couple hours/texts?

Honestly, it sounds like its not connecting to the tower to send it. My old RAZR use to do that, if it couldn't complete the send, it would store it. When you reboot the phone back into android, it then connects and realizes it can send a text. Can you make phone calls at that time?

lol if only it was that simple...this process of freezing texts actually in my case locks my handset forcing a removal of battery

oh wow....my phone never actually locked up completely -- actually it does now when i use swype on my stock verizon rom haha (i gave up on android a long time ago, and any other roms)

and yeah if i recall i think i could still make calls but i'm not too sure...
