Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-23-2010
Just posting a couple screen shots. Want to know what everyone here thinks of em.
Using the OSMonitor app. USB power shows active after I plug in the stock VZW brick.

This has been great and I thank all that has been involved. Job well done....
The only issue I can report (I was running this all day) with the latest package is, battery drain is quite fast and I was not able to charge via USB. Other than that, I have all of my office mates wishing they got a TouchPro 2 instead of a CrackBerry.. LOL!!!

So I installed the latest version, and I am loving it so far... Just curious though, the lights under the physical keys always stay lit up... is that normal? I have my backlight set to off, but the key lights still stay on. Any way to disable that?

Those lights seem to stay in whatever status they were in in windows when you launched haret. Try booting windows, waiting for them to turn off, and then launching haret - works for me.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-23-2010
I have an update on something I may have left out before. I can use data in Android with my sim card in. If you dont care this post isnt for you. HOW I DID IT: After I flashed from sprint lovers rom to S3 r11 beta1. I dl'd the most recent android build. I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS, took sim out switched to Android got phone registered on the network in Android. Then when i switched back to Winmo I put Sim card back in. went into setting>all settings>personal>phone>networks> and switched that from global to cdma only. then switched back to Android and now it works with sim card still inserted. IT DID NOT WORK WHEN I DIDNT REMOVE SIM CARD AND TRIED TO SWITCH TO CDMA ONLY BEFORE BOOTING IN ANDROID AND REGISTERING ON THE NETWORK FIRST so make sure you remove sim card, register on network IN ANDROID and then switch back to WINMO and place your phone in CDMA ONLY. Again this is for those of us that prefer to have sim card installed. I hope this helps. I have Sprint by the way and dont know if this works for other carriers.
