Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-31-2010
I posted a zip of the .kcm and .kl files (page 30), no actual rootfs.img file to test. I asked how I could test them out, as I couldn't just put them in the necessary folder and try it out myself, but it seemed like nothing came of it.

Ahh well, again didn't see anyone test it and say all was good, so probably didn't notice it, sorry. It really had nothing to do with me thinking you were nuts!

Check out the following thread from xda-developers..
[CAB] Project Android Port and Startup Utility [03/31/10] NOW SUPPORTS CDMA! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=627997 The first post contains a cab that when installed to your SD card, does everything needed to run Android. It also contains an auto-updater so moving files from the PC is not needed. I wiped all Android related files and did the install from the CAB file and it worked perfectly.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-31-2010
Just a word of warning. I was messing with android last night (the 3/31 version from Mackie) The phone got really hot while downloading new apps and running them. This morning I noticed that my phone had a 1 inch by 3 inch oilly/rainbow box in the middle of the touch screen. Luckily for me US Cellular oked a replacement. Just wanted to give you all a heads up

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-31-2010
by the way, when android boots and u get to the homescreen are your phones starting up with landscape or portrait ? mine always starts in landscape and i have to slide out the keyboard then close it to get it in portrait, it did that before with the old civics builds but when i disabled the autorotation it stopped doing that. anyway just curious.
Also anyone on metropcs got data working yet ? i havent
