I know there is a point during boot where winmo is on its way out and android (linux) takes over so my thought is some driver or setting was foobared at that moment.... that or it just happened to time out to that being the same time my gps chip died naturally.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-31-2010

I dunno if i'm the only one this happens with, but when i boot in Android, after about an hour or so of usage, i reset my device and enter back into Windows Mobile. When the phone starts up, 9/10 times the alarm goes off for what ever time it is on my phone.

Also, for notifications, is there a way to get the phone to vibrate or light up for incoming text messages or gtalk message?

When your either in text messages, email, or gtalk, hit menu and in there you can find where to set the notifications. However, obviously sound doesn't work but I am pretty sure you can set it to vibrate.

Hope this helps.

I wonder if this behavior is due to the different ways android and WM seem to set the time- I notice that when I reboot into WM from android my SBP backup will run (even though its set to start at 2am). Try rebooting into WM from android if you don't have the network to set the time directly and you see what I am talking about

My GPS has quit working about two-thirds of the time in WinMo so there is something going on as far as interaction between Android and WinMo.

Mackie,

I noticed that you have not updated since 4-8 is there a reason for it?
I am wondering if the development has stalled ever since Mr Pippy stop working on it.

Thank you very much!

Development is still VERY active. There's new zImage and rootfs packages every few days. You can add them to your current builds
