arrrghhh, pretty sure you know already, but looks like StineBD squashed the system_server today with an update to RootFS; got the news from rpierce99:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/tp2-androi...ml#post2054002 Sure enough, I downloaded the new rootfs from the XDAndroid site and tried it with FRX04 and it's working great!!! Wow, everything is coming along Wow, I'm really liking this distro now Very stable... I'm just OCing to 614Mhz now... using the wistilt2 1253 kernel you posted on the other thread. Registered a Quadrant benchmark score in the mid 500's.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [01/23] FRX04 Reference!
Quick question. Is there a site that has the latest builds to download from what you all are talking about? I have using Refermattness links for months but when the corrupt cab thing hit I started pouring through XDA and this forum for an alternative (the rar build seemed to hang and reboot). Now I'm seeing all this exciting progress with cameras and bug squashing but don't know what to download where. I am amazed at the work all of you are doing and really don't understand most of it. This is my first post since I have seen so many asked questions that have been answered before. I am now risking the same in hopes of some clarity. With different people working on different builds, fixes, etc. It is hard to keep up.
Thanks |

I'm going to update the post I had quite a few pages back in which I had the all-in-one package with the latest rootfs. |

Plus, a lot of what you're talking about (camera code, panel collapse code to improve battery life, etc) isn't committed - so even if the autobuild service was functional, you wouldn't see any of these fixes in there yet. We try to test everything thoroughly before it's committed - this is very difficult as we support SO many devices. With that said, new rootfs' can always be found here. That should always be up, and never change. For new kernels from GIT, F22 has been compiling them himself and putting them up in this thread. The camera testing stuff can be found here. I think that code is going to get dropped into the main kernel soon, my hopes are high on that! Hopefully that answered your questions, I know it is confusing - and honestly if you do feel yourself getting lost it might be best to just wait until it all settles down. We're in a final push here, and things are moving very fast - we have a lot of devs working hard on their various pieces, and stuff is really flying. It's exciting! |

That's an understatement! I know if I'm patient something will get compiled for those of us less savy. It's just really hard not to be on the bleeding edge! Thanks for the response! |

Has anybody else had a problem with voice texting since the system bug got squashed?
Whenever I click on the mic icon, the talk now screen pops up.. and thats about it. Not a big issue though. I don't mind using my stylus |
