Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!
Question, am the only one who's earpiece is crazy loud? I know they added the fix to make it "louder" (that was before we even got the external sounds going) but now I can't turn the in call volume down far enough to listen comfortably with the phone to my ear. :-D
For now, I just hold the phone from my ear, I'm pumped we have sounds!! |

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!
Extract the rar file... instructions are inside. Basically you copy the files over to your andboot folder and remove the old module.

When I used the Froyo one is was the green guys flying around, and then it looped for a long time, and then it crashed and popped up something like Processing Task not responding, and I closed it and only had a black screen. While it was looping I could hear the static sound. When I used the BLAZN build, on the first time it just looped for like half an hour until I pulled out the battery. The second time I tried it, it looped for like 10 minutes and then froze. |
Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!
So i tried this and had the hissing. But then my WM rom started freezing and acting whacky. Sound not working misc freezing etc. I thought it was the rom hard reset no dice tried another rom. It was the new nrg rom so thats why I tried another rom. Still froze etc.
I saw all these fsck files on my sd card. pulled the sd card and the rom works fine. So android jacked up my sd card. I have heard about this in the past and figured it would be fixed by now. Is there any special trick to avoid corrupting my card? |

I had some Wallpapers and now they are all gone except for the faded color bubbles and a black background.
Does anybody know what's up? Need a different background my eyes are bleeding from the crazy bubbles::::drunken: Bill |
Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!
I had that problem when I left the sim card in. After I took it out, deleted my SD card and reinstalled, it was fine.

Mine was also doing that untill i installed... remove static sound rar. my guess is that the static noise was taking phone out of standby and going back into standby when it stops. i read somewheres that the green led means in standby and orange means it running. not sure if this can damage phone but im sure it will drain battery faster |
Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!
Mine has always been doing that, think its cuz of all the widgets I use, I think a file is being read or written to when it does that, or something being checked and updating, like OCWidget checks the CPU every 60 seconds, then facebook/twitter will check for a notification, news and weather updates etc.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!
I don't feel bad about having to hard reset at all anymore. This is insanely great, I almost feel like I have a new phone!
I cannot wait until the GPS and camera start working. I think I might be done with Windows Mobile already without them. |

I have installed the update on HTC TP2 on USCellular's network, but when I go into settings and click on the available networks, it just says searching and never finds any network. What am I missing?

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [8/26] SOUND IS FIXED!
how do I go back from BLAZN (overclocked version) to regular version without losing my settings and apps? Are there a few files I just need to copy over?

not sure if i mucked up something or not. but i swear it wasn't doing this on the previous build. when i turn the screen off, it just goes black but the backlight is still on. i had a helluva time getting this build working on my phone without the static sound, this is the last part and it's crucial. any suggestions?

is there a trick to getting the text to speech to work. I downloaded the tts extended, and the pico languages out of market, and now i got a weird buzzing sound. I dont see any posts regarding tts at all. Is it possible? Im trying to get the navigation working. Maps works, but how do i get the voice directions, and search by voice option to work?
