Try deleting your data.img. Or if you used the cab, try unzipping the .rar and just delete your anboot folder, and your cache folder, and use the 2 in the rar.

hey guys, i installed this on my wifes Touch Pro II for T-Mobile service and everything is working great as far as the internet, sms, and mms also. But incoming calls are going directly to voicemail and not ringing to the phone. It can make outgoing calls just fine but not receiving calls. Any ideas on what could be happening or is anyone else having this issue? any help would be greatly appreciated because id love to get android fully working for her to use on this amazing phone.

Don't think you looked at the right column, rear speaker works only partially for topaz but not for us cdma

Rhodium (CDMA)

correct?


Because what im talking about is the wired headset which says it works for the Rhodium (CDMA). I just want to be able to use Pandora on android in my truck where i've got a headphone jack.

But from what i've read it says that external sound does not work yet, correct?

Tripflex - from my understanding there is no sound what so ever outside of a phone call. I haven't been able to get what you are trying to work.

Does not work on Verizon no matter what I do... Fresh SDcard after hard reset neither version works, endless startup

Try using the .rar files to replace the "andboot" and "cache" folders after you install Android using the .cab. This seems to be working for most people over at XDA.

I tried klinux's 2.1 with Sense UI. A lot slower than previous build. I have yet to try 2.1 without sense.

hey, uh, I dont like auto backlight in WinMo, so its never on. Once I installed this however, now its always enabled after I run android. How do I make it stop messing with the setting?

Hey guys, I updated the AOSP 2.1 .cab today. Seems to be working much better this time. :) Give it a try if you were having issues with the other one, and let me know how it goes! Enjoy!


Its very easy to fix Scruf. I do not like auto backlight on either, so all I do is go into windows/startup folder and delete "Autobacklighton.exe". :)

Just wanted to send some feedback on the updated AOSP cab. The new one is working just fine for me; no need to copy parts of the rar package anymore. I am getting 125mb free ram after running Taskiller in the build!!

On my Verizon TP2 I installed the .cab file onto my card, tried running it from the Android icon, got a bunch of data, then the phone turns off. Will only turn on with soft reset, resets into WM.

hmm i can't figure how to get (sprint) cdma service.

NEVERMIND - REMOVE SIM CARD FIX IT

The Non Sense Cab work fine. Launch the app to change to Sprint and CDMA, then boot it.

3G works.

No GPS for me though.

Me Too. ASOP booted for me(with latest cab - first 4/23 cab didn't) but wouldn't make a call/data. Took out SIM card and I was able to do voice/Data. Didn't try GPS as its known not to work yet.

Honestly, I don't think it messes anything up if you choose the other. Probably something in the kitchen they are using. I think that it has 2 Setup Wizards installed, so it makes you pick one, since there is no "default" chosen.

my winmo has activesync to mail2web's exchange server (owa). in order to use android marketplace, i have to sync to gmail. my question is, will booting to winmo keep activesync to owa and once boot to android, it will sync to to gmail exchange server and keep both separate?

for some reason i keep getting cab unsuccessful for 2.1 w/sense ](*,)](*,)..........but asop 2.1 works just fine and have been running ever since......is there any way to get 2.1 with sense to install? thanks to all in advance

I tried the cab version and it didn't work (*sense) So I downloaded the rar version and it worked. I am liking this alot. Keep doing what your doing guys. I appreciate it.

guys..Please help.... I have loaded the RAR files...removed the SIM card and run Haret... it starts but says no service..I cannot do calls or data... what did i miss????

you should use the MJGDROIDUTIL in file explorer to chose your model of phone. happened to me try it. thanks

Ok, I loaded the other android that someone created, and the data worked fine, but some issues arose, so I removed. And put the asop 2.1 on my Sprint TP2. It loads up, but no service. My sim card is removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
