FYI: I also have 3D hardware enabled in startup.txt. Using flyers' latest build, with the latest initrd that I installed manually as well (wasn't sure if flyers' was the latest or not so grabbed it just in case...) |
Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
I had troubled booting up before with all other builds except 95-Civic, but today it booted up fine. There was a previous guy that said that as soon as it boots to Android and he sees the 3G data icon on top, it reboots again, and thats exactly what was happening to me. So today i put in my sprint sim card and also in Windows i changed from Global to only CDMA and then ran Haret, it did not reboot, i went into settings set to automatically detect my network and it worked, i have Android with Market and 3g working fine, i did take out my sim card again thou, dont remember why, but play around with it! I think am missing something ](*,) good luck!

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
I think the new kernel and modules messed something up because now it just wants to reboot. Back to square 1. lol

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
Latest initrd and rootfs, as well as kernel, and forced 3D HW graphics. Runs MUCH smoother now (very noticeable).
One question/feature request: For the kernel, can the feature found @ http://code.google.com/p/android-wired-tether/wiki/FAQ be built in? Or, do I need to do it myself for my kernel (i.e., due to legal issues)? And, is this the right place to post this (if not, mods feel free to move)? Thoughts/comments appreciated. |

The status does change to charging when the USB cable is plugged in, but it doesn't actually charge. |
