for the record, if anyone cares which i bet they don't. But, it was my SD card that was keeping android from booting. for some reason no matter how many times i formatted it it didn't run. swapped out memory cards, and shazam! works like a charm

But since I helped fuel the 'live wallpaper' fire I'll apologize. Didn't mean to piss you off.
Biff u didn't piss me of at all and wasn't the purpose of my post to piss anyone off...I just would love to see a more organized forum now that we have a subforum. I believe if this thread was more organized, development should be smoother and faster for everyone....
IE...devs dont have to search for a hour or more through useless posts to find the useful ones, therefore their time (which is free for the most part) isn't waisted, therefore in return we get better, faster updates (ideally)...

this happened to me too for a while. i ended up formatting the card and it got into the linux bootloader. but then it would loop and loop and loop until i swapped out the card.

the one that wasnt working was a 4gb kingston microsd HC class 4

If you are referring to my post earlier the person was looking for exchange calendar (which android does not currently sync). Exchange contacts and mail sync perfectly but to sync the calendar with the android one the easiest way is some piece of third party software.

Betcha anything your bad SD card wasn't partitioned properly. And re-formatting generally doesn't delete partitions which is why re-formatting didn't work for you

...which probably means that you had an extended partition that had a logical partition within it. Haret only wants to see the one partition

So how do I check the partition table on my SD card?
