Everyone else getting these files created FSCK0000.REC?
Should i just delete them every now and again or am i doing something wrong?

*EDIT*
Also just reporting, i added the hw3d.force=1 to the startup.txt
and my fireworks live wall paper runs way way way better.

Those are normal, they are the File System Checks it does on each boot. And yes you can delete them.

I loaded up the new kernal and seems to be faster to me...

Its really nice having the arrows to navigate, the touch sensitivity is crazy.

Make sure you are adding it in correctly. the startup file should have this line

set cmdline "msmvkeyb_toggle=off lcd.density=240 gsensor_axis=2,1,3 htc_hw.force_cdma=1 physkeyboard=rhod400"

Also, the splash screen doesn't work so you'll get a black screen until it boots.. if it moves from the linux screen to a black screen, give it a minute or 2.

The first time I tried it, I thought my TP2 froze.

I did get the new kernel (thanks mackie), but I thought my TP2 froze as well. Maybe I just didnt give it enough time to load up. Ill try it again. The new Kernel is definitely much faster. By the way

Not to burst any bubbles heh, but the touchscreen is still sensitive and still will double/triple tap on characters still. Just sometimes are worse than others. It has been noted that a lot of times after coming out of sleep that the screen performs better. But if you have it out for a longer period it gets worse. So I am not aware of any new touchscreen drivers or sensitivity settings quite yet. Hopefully soon heh. But just wanted to stop the rumor mill before everyone thought the new kernel fixed the touchscreen heh.

Are you sure that's the updated one? The modules I got with the last kernel package were modules-2.6.27-00965-g1fdc0e4.tar. The one in your package were 2.6.2700962. I don't know how to check the zImage files to see if they're the updated ones or not either
