Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
Question: For the Modules, they are a .tar package, when I'm getting them from glemmons site, so I need to just put the new modules onto the SD card and delete the old one? or do I need to unzip and place all the files located in the compressed file onto the SD card?

change the startup.txt to the following line.. set cmdline "msmvkeyb_toggle=off lcd.density=240 gsensor_axis=2,1,3 hw3d.force=1 htc_hw.force_cdma=1 physkeyboard=rhod400" remember, with this you will not get the splash screen.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
Just thought I would leave you a note Mr. Pippy, I have a Verizon TP2 running the newest build and the FN special characters are all messed up, for example the special char for N is a ! but when you use it a : comes up etc.

It'd be nice if there was some place to put this information so we wouldn't have to tell everyone over and over again. I guess the FAQ is probably a good choice, or the wiki -- but I don't know if anyone looks at the wiki. Edit: I guess it is in the FAQ. Oops. Nevermind. With the latest initramfs, rootfs should go in the andboot folder without complaint. It's working for me (on a Touch Pro, but that shouldn't make any difference.) Quote:

Also as you should be able to add the "rel_path=Android" to the command line startup.txt like Civic said many, many pages ago... I will be testing and reporting back in an hour or so.
