Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
gsm for the new zimages/rootfs/modules/intrid is not working surprisingly
my 2g hasn't worked in ages so no text or data... =( edit what's the date of the files? current or older build? While on the subject I have a build of htc hero sense on mine that's pretty current I can upload that so people can test it but I don't have the zimage/modules/intrid for cdma so if anyone can point me to the cdma variant I can try to upload that package. It is faster and recognizes rhodium keyboard layout |
Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
followed page 1 to a T, clicking haret just locks my TP2 up.
Investigating now |

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))
When I click on HARET with the newest build, it just vibrates twice and then freezes up my phone too. I never had any problems with the previous builds and memory has never been an issue. |

Anyway double check the files that you were supposed to have on the root of the sd card. I put all the original (zipped) files into thier own folder just in case there might be some kind of conflict. |

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
WOW. this one is SOLID!
Nice work Not sure if its just the signal inside the building but i had to reboot after the initial launch to get 3G service. Anywho, its all up and working now. |
Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
I love this and am very appreciative of MrPippy for doing this but i dont think ill be trying it till he gets cdma data working for Verizon. Can't wait till then!

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
All files from post one are already extracted and inside the file.....just follow the instructions below and you are off....
just extract the folder and throw it on the root of the card.....if it does not work just move all the files onto the root.....FYI...what I do is add a new folder for all of my current stuff for Winmo and drop all Droid files right into the root... EDIT: Thanks to matthewb57 for providing me with free hosting. When more packages are ready I will package them up and use the free file hosting from him. Makes it all quicker. Please give THANKS to "matthewb57" whenever you see a post by him, for providing this hosting! Please refer to this thread for future updates. http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/downloads GL! |

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
The format of the wiki linked in my sig changed so I've added a Rhodium (CDMA/Sprint) column.
Please updated it as needed. |
Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
I noticed the original STARTUP.TXT file is for the TP1, so when I replace that file with the STARTUP.TXT out of the Rhodium folder I get the error message when clicking on Haret that failed to load file...

Or you can add rel_path=whatever to your cmdline (in startup.txt) and then use whatever directory. (You need the latest initrd.gz for this to work correctly, though.) Quote:
If you have trouble with the calibration, just reboot to winmo and delete ts-calibration from your android folder on your sdcard. It will run the calibration again on the next boot. Quote:

I could be wrong on that count, though. (There are a number of other issues that could cause a problem.) Can anyone confirm, up or down, whether data's working on Verizon? |
