gsm for the new zimages/rootfs/modules/intrid is not working surprisingly
my 2g hasn't worked in ages so no text or data... =(
edit what's the date of the files? current or older build?

While on the subject I have a build of htc hero sense on mine that's pretty current I can upload that so people can test it
but I don't have the zimage/modules/intrid for cdma so if anyone can point me to the cdma variant I can try to upload that package. It is faster and recognizes rhodium keyboard layout

Do you have a rootfs.img on the root of your storage card? And a 1,470 KB zImage?

its a app installer in the menu. plus you can dl apps as a .apk file and dump it right in androidapps folder on sd. you can find apps thru 3rd party sitr.

They are not showing up in android

When I click on HARET with the newest build, it just vibrates twice and then freezes up my phone too. I never had any problems with the previous builds and memory has never been an issue.

Try making a call first. Sometimes data doesnt work initially but making a call first kicks it into gear. Thanks to carladarla for that tip.

some have complained the new rootfs would lead to no startup (especially march 7 builds)
try an older rootfs

If you have the android folder, remove it. This build only seems to work with files directly in the root of the SD Card

Sorry for the multiple posts...
Anyway double check the files that you were supposed to have on the root of the sd card. I put all the original (zipped) files into thier own folder just in case there might be some kind of conflict.

Make sure you boot without the sim card in. I believe thats what has been causing that issue.

WOW. this one is SOLID!

All files from post one are already extracted and inside the file.....just follow the instructions below and you are off....

just extract the folder and throw it on the root of the card.....if it does not work just move all the files onto the root.....FYI...what I do is add a new folder for all of my current stuff for Winmo and drop all Droid files right into the root...

EDIT: Thanks to matthewb57 for providing me with free hosting. When more packages are ready I will package them up and use the free file hosting from him. Makes it all quicker. Please give THANKS to "matthewb57" whenever you see a post by him, for providing this hosting!

Data worked for me on Verizon on the last Civic build (HTCTP2CDMA-3-6-10) so I am hoping it will work with this build as well. Looking forward to the zipped up version that Flyers is working on. I'll report back as soon as I get it loaded up.

Has anyone tried this on a Verizon TP2 yet? Do you have data?

The format of the wiki linked in my sig changed so I've added a Rhodium (CDMA/Sprint) column.
Please updated it as needed.

set cmdline "msmvkeyb_toggle=off lcd.density=240 htc_hw.force_cdma=1 physkeyboard=rhod400"

The android folder no longer works. (It was conflicting with apps that created their own android folder in the sdcard, so it was changed.) If you still want to segregate your android files, change the android folder to 'andboot'.

Or you can add rel_path=whatever to your cmdline (in startup.txt) and then use whatever directory. (You need the latest initrd.gz for this to work correctly, though.)

but everything is way off on my touch screen

edit: the calibration is time sensitive, so you need to touch the "+" signs quickly

It is not time sensitive, it's just touch sensitive... that is, very touch sensitive. If you look at what you have there, it's 5 sets of x,y coordinates, and your second and third pair are essentially the same. Meaning it read the second point twice, making the third and fourth points wrong.

If you have trouble with the calibration, just reboot to winmo and delete ts-calibration from your android folder on your sdcard. It will run the calibration again on the next boot.

I would take that link down, simply because it confuses the issue. That's 95-Civic's old build, which contains a few out-of-tree hacks. This is the new one that's a little closer to lining up with the mainline development.

I know post 1 says Sprint only, but I'd try it with Verizon anyway. The problem (at least as I know it, I haven't spoken with MrPippy about it) tends to be with carriers that require a username and password to connect to data, and I don't actually think Verizon does so. I know a few months ago when people were getting up and running with the RAPH500, it could connect to data without all the trouble that USCC et al were giving.

I could be wrong on that count, though. (There are a number of other issues that could cause a problem.) Can anyone confirm, up or down, whether data's working on Verizon?
