Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
I'm also having an issue with my location. It seems to be working when I turn on wifi, however it's showing me in london and various other places that I am not (I'm in Michigan). I'm on verizon so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, wondering if anybody else has had a similar experience.

So if your google maps isn't picking your location after you load the latest kernel with screen tweaks, and you followed instructions in Post #3 and you get a message that says 'location temporarily not available' ...try a reboot and see how that works. Seemed to do the trick for me. FWIW - My first stop here is always 1st page post #1 and post#3 for any updates or corrections. So if I ask a question later in the thread, I'm pretty sure it hasn't been addressed. I also realize that loading new kernels and tweaks that aren't fully tested may change the way other things work. Just lookin' for answers to new problems..not re-ask known problems. |
