wow..

I actually wish he would post a bit more even if it is to say that nothing is currently happening...

but nevertheless, he deserves the VIP status.

I am not sure it is kosher to drop websites on ppcgeeks so pm me and I can give it or just google it. You need to donate on his site to get it. There are a few different windows 7 themes out there but his is currently the best imho. You need to get wisbar advanced desktop first and make sure you have mortscript installed as well.

CAN WE PLEASE MAKE SOME ATTEMPT TO STAY ON TOPIC??? My God! It's bad enough reading the flood of general Android questions that don't belong here, and the WinMob vs. Android crap.

Lots of users have reported that 1 or more restarts are required to get everything working.

In other words, if it doesn't work, restart and try again. If you followed the instructions properly it will eventually work

It's not JUST him that's posting the kernels. Mr. Pippy is working on the specific rootfs that we use for cdma, but this update does not change anything in that file. No changes have been made to the rootfs since this thread was made. It's all in the kernel. If you follow the long directions in the first post, you'll have this version with the fix inside it. If you download "all in one" cabs, you'll have to wait until they are updated with it. If you want to update them manually, download the latest zimage from HERE, extract it to your desktop and change the name of the zimage to file so it's just called "zimage" without the quotes. Leaving that folder open, plug i your phone and go to your storage card. When you find the file that conatins a "zimage" and a "modules.wholebunchofnumbershere", delete both of those off the card and replace them with the ones you extract and renamed. Hope that helps people understand the upgrade process a little better.

Thanks! I knew there were new kernels but what I don't understand is the fire from the hip progress/updates. Correct me if I'm wrong BUT aren't some of the newly updated kernels just for testing and not "official"? I guess I'm just used to seeing updates come across as official and "working" but I guess with this dev, we should keep an eye on and try/test out the kernels as they are posted and give feed back over there.

Well everything but that works so I imagine I followed the instructions right. Are there a specific set of instructions geared toward getting the marketplace working?
