Wirelessly posted (tp2: Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/17992; U; en))

i guess you can just delete everything from your card and do it again. Since its not working now, so you are not losing anything.

Well everything but that works so I imagine I followed the instructions right. Are there a specific set of instructions geared toward getting the marketplace working?

Did you use the rootfs thats posted as an attachment in post #1? Did you remove your SIM card?

Lots of users have reported that 1 or more restarts are required to get everything working.

In other words, if it doesn't work, restart and try again. If you followed the instructions properly it will eventually work

+1, usually two restarts for me if all I do is update the modules and the zImage.

Thanks! I knew there were new kernels but what I don't understand is the fire from the hip progress/updates. Correct me if I'm wrong BUT aren't some of the newly updated kernels just for testing and not "official"? I guess I'm just used to seeing updates come across as official and "working" but I guess with this dev, we should keep an eye on and try/test out the kernels as they are posted and give feed back over there.

I always just hit up glemsom's website, grab the very top one and extract the zImage and modules to my SD card, I delete the old ones first before I copy them over.

I don't think I have a SIM card. I've also booted it a couple of times and it hasn't worked

All sprint tp2s come with sim card. It is under the battery. Remove it and your problems will likely be solved.

I received a replacement TP2 from sprint through insurance and it did not come with a SIM card. It's not there and I can take a picture if need be. Any other suggestions?

Yeah, your not doing something right. Each step has to be done in the correct order or this is what happens.

You have to put ALL of it in the ROOT of your storage card. ROOT meaning the very first level where you see your folders and files.
