Man, you are a saint! I was only kidding. I for one know how to read threads but you are a saint for actually answering my post, of course unless you were just getting in on the joke!
Otherwise, you get the most patient saint award from me....lol

Shawnageek, check the first post in this thread and follow the instructions. The latest build should have WiFi working as long as it isn't protected by WEP encryption (WPA and WPA2 work fine). Also, if you pull your SIM card out of the phone before rebooting, you should also be able to have 3G data service working on Verizon (I have verified this) and Sprint provided you have data coverage.

Also, be sure you have cleared out any old files left over from the previous versions you have had installed. If you don't get rid of your data files, then it may not initialize android properly with the newest release.

still dont work i have no web icon....no 3g , no ev,no E and not even 1x .....this sucks started over from scratch and still nothing can some one copy the files off of there sd card and e-mail them to me maybe i didnt put it together right....also i have no sim card in the phone.....do you have to set up apn for sprint or is that for gsm cuz a gsm user told me thats probally the problem. www.slcmccollum at aol.com

When scrolling, does everyone have the issue of accidently clicking things when you want to scroll? I think that is what bugs me the most as it just takes to long to do something as I need to click back everytime I accidently click something......

Are you sure you don't have the files in a folder on your SD card? I tried putting mine in a folder on a fresh install and everything loaded, but I had no data or calling. Putting it all back on the root of the sd card and using the startup.txt posted in the first post of this thread got me back up. Sound legitimate?

This will be fixed soon, there is a patch out there just has to be tested a little more. Be patient. Soon enough the touchscreen should work lots better.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if that had to do with the actual touchscreen settings or it was due to the lag in Android.......Or is the lag we see mostly due to the touchscreen issues?

I have found that the first time you launch Android, the wireless radio does not always work. Try rebooting the phone and launching Android again and see if it works better. I do not have Sprint, but I do not believe you need to setup APN.

I had a different outcome. My phone was at 91% in WinMo and I booted up the latest build of android. Checked the battery monitor and voltage was around 4.5, left it for a while, nothing changed. Then I plugged in the phone to my computer and the orange LED came on, just like it does when in WinMo, but the voltage never changed. Rebooted back into WinMo after 2 hours and the battery was at 72%.

No charging for me from computer, havent tried the wall charger which would provide a little more power yet, that will be next.

OK guys. I just tried this again, and this time, I ran my battery down to 90% before booting Android. I then plugged in my usb cord, and ran Haret. IN android, I ran the phone HARD for about an hour with web pages, media streams and anything else I could get to work. Upon booting back into windows, Batt says 100%. This is my phone. I am not crazy. :headbang:

EDIT: Another way to see this. Load up android and then unplug your cable. The battery monitor should be running showing you "100" in the top right corner. Go ahead and slide the top taskbar down to see "Advanced Task Killer and the Battry Monitor. The voltage should be right there. Unplug your phone for a few mins. The voltage will drop. Give it a few mins to get down a bit. Now turn your screen back on. The voltage will be much lower. (mine started at appx. 4.8v and dropped to about 4.3 before I plugged it in) Now go ahead and pop that cable back in. after about 30 seconds the voltage will begin to go back up until it reaches 4.8v again.

I'm posting this because it takes less time and still shows the same outcome. She's charging. Not huge, but closer nonetheless.
