Sounds like you need to start the process over again, you may not have extracted properly.

I myself have been downloading apps since this morning.

OK so after much trial and error Ive found that you can not turn on Wi-Fi with the Android files in the Android folder. It has to be directly on the root of the sd card. Dont know why, wifi must look for something at the root to work. Testing Google Maps now

That worked just fine. mapped me within 1400 meters which isnt great but better than nothin.

I am going to have to agree with this...Sprint does not have some of the brightest techs...so it would not surprise me...

Is your android files on the root or in the android folder? Put them on the root. Thats all that was holding me back.

It takes a while for the settings to take. Putting the phone into airplane makes the phone soft reset. Taking it out of Airplane mode takes almost a minute but you can see it says turning on services or something

set up exchange account from winmo

server:m.google.com

Select SSL connection

Wait about 3 minutes and you will have your winmo contacts in your gmail account.
From there you are on your own in android. But i can tell you this ...It also does not require cables or winblows computers, outlook or csv files.

Good luck. !!!

Hi, you have to input a domain name as well. What would that be? Thanks

Did you try turning it on in Settings>Wireless and Networks>Wi-Fi?

And is all your extractions to the root of your sd card?

thanks mate.. yes..I've tried it various ways. ..in the root folder...in the android folder.. formatting to fat32...changing the zimage..
most times I get an x in the signal box...when I don't have the x ..it sits there scanning for networks..
very strange.

Anybody able to get live wallpaper working? I installed the package to enable it, and I can get to my live wallpapers, but it constantly says loading, and if I try to set it as background the background becomes black and then reverts to the normal background after about 20 seconds. Wondering if anybody else has had more luck

Are you trying them on the Home++ screen?

If so, don't. They only work on the default 'Home' screen, not Home++

For any app that says that you need to be rooted, just restart your device and it will work next time. lol Found that out the hard way.

Since CDMA data now works, I didn't even realize my wifi wasn't working until I read this will fix the maps problem.

I don't have an Android folder so that wasn't the issue.

I removed all Android files, downloaded and extracted Flyers zip file and that took care of it.

I dont' know why that would be any different, but give that a shot.
If you do grab that file, be sure to update your startup.txt file to include the gsensor settings

set cmdline "msmvkeyb_toggle=off lcd.density=240 gsensor_axis=2,1,3 htc_hw.force_cdma=1 physkeyboard=rhod400"

You dont you will have to remove the system file from the android folder onto the root of the sd card..then you will be able to boot fine.

Also which build are we using from glemsom's website.

I ran haret.exe on the most current build and phone seemed to stay in a continuous loop after stating that it could not find the system.img on the SD card.

same as above.it worked for me. Also it may get past the system part and stop in a different place. If that happens move that file onto the root of your sd card as well.

Hey guys I can confirm you can not download from the market place with your sim card in the phone. But you are able to go online and make phone calls. If you try downloading with your sim card the download will stay stuck at "starting download"

Mine does that now as well.

Sim has been out since last night.

Cancel download that is queued. and restart

works fine after this.

Not sure whats causing this.

I dont think its SIM though.

Power Management: What's the latest on that and what are the major holdups?

Once the big players get that taken care of, we can move on to Sound. Power Management notwithstanding, what are the big issues with Sound?
