A quick note for those who are attempting to connect via adb in windows -- it won't work out of the box. (At least, this is the case with the TP1, and I can see no reason why it would be different on the TP2. The USB/ADB drivers are no more fleshed out on the RHOD400.)

You need to add a line to the 'custom shell' section at the end of eclair.user.conf:

echo 2 > /sys/devices/platform/msm_hsusb/usb_function_switch

Of course, this command breaks adb in linux (and probably mac), but it's necessary in Windows. Also, the phone needs to be connected to the computer at boot time or it won't bring up the interface. I think that's it. I hope that's it.

EDIT: WOOPS lol never mind, it's too early lol. got it :) i'll try it out in a bit
gota get to class now

I must have missed this post... i didn't see it in the instructions on the download either. I was able to get WiFi working on my Sprint TP2 with no issues. Everything else worked except for the Market. It was pretty cool to see it on the TP2. I'd definitely pony up some bounty to get this thing working like some of the other ports to CDMA phones.

Excellent job guys!

I did the voicemail method to get outgoing calls working using Android, but it only works when I make calls. I can hear the person and they can hear me.
When someone calls me I can't hear the ringer, when I answer (from visually seeing the call) I can't hear them and they can't hear me. Also the phone does not ring or make any other noise while in Android.
So I can't get music to play. Any help would be useful.

I love the build... who ever is working on this project (Mr. Pippy, may GOD bless your Starfox soul), much Kudos and blessings to you...

I got the new Market file, installed, am able to get to the market, via Wifi, can start a download, but it just stays stuck showning, "Downloading"....

Also.. I understand the microphone work around... but my speaker (ie, sound) does not work for me... any work around for that?

You guys are awesome...
I wonder... will there every be a complete, non-haret, Android rom?

It may not be finished downloading? I succesfully downloaded Flying Aces and iCommando from that market app. Both games ran good. Both downloads appeared in top left corner and you can pull down that menu to install.

Thanks. But why can't I hear the other person when I call them, but we can't hear each other if the other person calls me?

Probably has to do with phone not being fully implemented yet without using tricks.

What tricks would I need to use? I did the voicemail trick.

Also does anyone know how to download Google Voice app for Android to our phones?

Read through this thread and see what the other users are saying. Nothing is gonna work outta the box and may take several attempts to get to things to work correctly.

The progress so far has been great and we should see some big time things being fixed in the near future.

I have read through and have not seen any other tricks besides the voicemail trick. I was asking because it seems like you know something that I have bypassed in this thread.

If anyone knows what else I can do to get incoming calls working, please let me know.
