Knowing that your mac address is coming up and mine is not leads me to believe that this is the problem. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm very eager to get this working.

your title says you have a touch pro. can you confirm you are trying this on a touch pro 2. also have you tried flashing back to stock rom?

Are these rootfs possible to be used with civics build or even the CDMA touch pro 2? If you say it's possible i'll try it out now

lol yup

they are all from the xandroid, and they support a few deviced i think the diamond, touch pro, diamond 2 and touch pro2 and although the files are the same i think, they have different support for different devices
just back up the current rootfs file that your using and try the newest one and look for changes, try wifi, bluetooth whatever u wana try that didnt work before

Yes I do have a touch pro2. I had a touch pro when I originally joined this site but that kicked the bucket. I have not yet tried flashing back to stock rom but I will later tonight. I also tried adding my mac address to the startup.txt as per the link I posted but my wifi in android still shows my mac address as unavailable. I read more about this and android will say it is unavailable if the wifi is off. Winmo does this too. I've turned the wifi on and off multiple times and it still shows unavailable. Therefore, I don't think not having my MAC address show up in android is the cause of my problem.

I think it would be a good idea to use the site's wiki for some of the commonly asked questions.
This should keep down the amount of posts asking questions which have already been asked and answered as well as the posts saying to search, read the entire thread etc.

As a start, I created a quick page here

thoughts?
