This may very well have been mentioned, apologies if double post. Just trying to help heh. The issue with the backlight always staying on seems to be fixed by turning off the AutoDim stuff in Windows Mobile. SETTINGS-SYSTEM-POWER. Disable the automanagement stuff, and then disable the autodim for batter as well as external power. Now my backlight seems to turn off when phone is asleep in android.

is clearing the SD card a must, Carla?

I unzipped right to the root of my sd card. no issues, no worries. I'm on verizon TP2 stock winmo 6.5

Have any of you guys seen a similar issue to this:

After launching Haret.exe the following error is displayed, "Something used micropklt_lcd_ctrl. This function should no longer be used." This error is displayed repeatly until the device crashes.

If so, could you let me know if you found a work-around?

I've tried five different SD cards ranging from 2gb to 8gb. The only build I've been able to successfully launch was the one released on 1/25/09. Thanks again in advance for your help.

1st and Foremost... Thank You for all your work... Loving the progress...

ok quick question... I have my Sprint TP2 which is of course CDMA, but I have it unlocked with a T-MO sim (toggle back and forth between the 2 networks). I'm currently using Mighty Rom 2/10/10 but also toggle with SPB interface...

I have currently downloaded this current build and if I set network to GSM before running and leave the sim in it seems to work ok (outside of known issues), but if I leave SIM in with network set to CDMA and run the build, it never connects to network. Of course if I pull the SIM, CDMA Sprint works fine on the Android build. I love having the 3g of my sprint but it's a pain in the @$$ to keep pullin the sim out to flip back over. Any suggestions? Also can't seem to get direct connection to Adroid Market from application... keep getting network server error.

Market is a known issue.. Mentioned prolly 15 times so far.

The issue with your SIM Card on another carrier I dont think will work since its mentioned on the first page to pull the sim card out.

Well I just did it because I pulled my main SD that I use for the TP2 and threw in a 2GB card I had lying around. After I had the initial connection problems I just cleared it and redid everything to make sure. I have separate SD cards for all my phones since a lot of the rooting and nandroid info for my Android phones comes right off the SD Cards and I don't want to have to keep going back and fourth. I figure clean start = clean finish :)
