It does get annoying when people won't as mentioned even read the same page they reply in, bad enuf they won't read a few pages back. But regardless. Rumor has it Market is fixed and hopefully we will have a new kernel, new rootfs with cleaned up RIL and such released maybe tonight, but hopefully tomorrow at latest. MrPippy has been busy and I think he is gonna feed us soon. Make sure to thank him. He rocks!

Thanks Mackie... You're right SIM worked with previous build but not this one. Airplane mode loops on every time.

The issue with your SIM Card on another carrier I dont think will work since its mentioned on the first page to pull the sim card out.

I'm using a usc tp2 on at&t, which means pulling the sim card would give me no network :/
Any idea? Android runs fine though

Ya know... I have never even considered flamming someone in these threads untill after this 3-6 update... it seems that every other post is "Stuck in airplane mode" or "My Market doesn't work"... all I can say is WOW!!!! READ, READ, READ :protest::protest::protest:

As for the rest of you out there that have actually contributed to this thread and those of you that have contributed to my entertainment, thanks have been granted.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you can run the GSM build of Android provided you are using it on a GSM network on a "World Phone".

Am I the only one experience this problem with the TP2 Google Android???

After installing it on my TP2 and running it.... I find myself having to check this thread every 5 minutes for updates. Help! Any solution to this? LOL

(J/K!! Kudos to all the contributors. Great job!)

1st and Foremost... Thank You for all your work... Loving the progress...

ok quick question... I have my Sprint TP2 which is of course CDMA, but I have it unlocked with a T-MO sim (toggle back and forth between the 2 networks). I'm currently using Mighty Rom 2/10/10 but also toggle with SPB interface...

I have currently downloaded this current build and if I set network to GSM before running and leave the sim in it seems to work ok (outside of known issues), but if I leave SIM in with network set to CDMA and run the build, it never connects to network. Of course if I pull the SIM, CDMA Sprint works fine on the Android build. I love having the 3g of my sprint but it's a pain in the @$$ to keep pullin the sim out to flip back over. Any suggestions? Also can't seem to get direct connection to Adroid Market from application... keep getting network server error.

Q. Any suggestions?
A. Use CDMA and NOT your SIM card for GSM. This is for CDMA phones, I believe there is a GSM build on XDA.

*Maybe there will be a "flip flop" addition some day but this is not it.
