My first couple of times took too long also (once it was over 2 hours and it never got thru all the way). Here is what I did, I copied all the files off my 2gb sd on to a file on my desktop, formateed my sd card in FAT32, copied all the files from the unzipped HTCTPCDMA... folder into my sd card, ran HaRet after inserting the card back into my phone... and it worked! (load time on first run was about 3-4 minutes, now it loads in about a minute). I then took out the card from my phone and copied all my files (excluding the HTCTPCDMA... folder) back onto my card, and then put the card back in my phone. So far it is working fine, Android is ok (I can make and receive calls in Android, no data yet) and all the other apps on my card for WinMo are working fine too. I sure would love to have a dual boot rom for this. That would be awesome.
By the way, did anyone notice that Android runs better on the stock rom (WinMo 6.1) than on a cooked rom. I have to TP2s with me right now, 1 is running Mighty's 2/4/10 rom and the other sprint stock. I have Android on both, the functionality and integration on the stock rom is almost flawless while the custom rom has hiccups. I wonder why? Any ideas anyone?

I'm by no means a dev but i would imagine that it is because before haret runs, even if you are using the GenY Dual Boot, windows mobile is completely loaded. Then haret runs on top of that and boots into android. If even part of any program related to winmo stays in memory it will lessen the performance of android. So even the tiniest memory leak will have an effect. A barebones winmo build will use less resources than a buggy winmo 6.5 build would...

man this sh*ts is exciting...the next update may be as functional as I need to use android on the regular. thanks again civic...i've made a small donation once and there are definitely more to come...hopefully they will be bigger next time...I just gotta keep my wife off the donations radar...lol...here's a sample of what I might hear: "you're donating money to someone for 'apps' for that phone that already costs a fortune?!? I thought you said it was the perfect phone; that you wouldn't need another phone; now you want android? hmmph." hehe

i 'lol' a lot but i'm really crying on the inside....

Our Wives must be best friends or sisters separated at birth... I have literally heard that exact speech more than once in the last 4 months... Lol. Too Funny.

In all seriousness, Fantastic job Civic. We are all on the edge of our seats waiting for the release of greatness. Thanks aren't enough. You rock :headbang:

You are the man Civic! Just sent a small donation of $10.00 - wish I could afford to send more but it's tough being a full time student atm. Every little bit counts and if we all donate a little we can help you out with that 2010 civic for sure.

Most of the Android for TP2 development I've been reading about has been GSM only and we are lucky to have someone looking out for us CDMA heads .I Just set this up on my TP2 and so far it's awesome. I'm really looking forward to future updates.

I was just reading on xda how the Vogues Android port utilizes some of it's hardware video GPU acceleration that was not tapped into under WM?. If the TP2's GPU could be tapped into under Android I could see this being really really sweet for us in the future.
