With only civic workin on this for cdma, I dont see android becoming a full blown rom anytime soon. I am not knockin civic, I think he has done a hell of a job with the current release and look forward to future releases.

I don't see it being any more fast changing than current winmo roms...once most everything is working I don't see why it wont be cooked in as a dual boot option...really once data and speaker work i think i may use it on the daily...unless i'm overlooking something...if there were a real dual boot option or even a full fledged android rom i would definitely be interested...however i'm pretty happy using it the way it is as well...

Ok I am going on 45 min here on the first load and I am starting to worry.
It is running, as I can see it moving through files....any thoughts or experience here?

Painfully obvious i know but that is too long. ;) Yank the battery and try try again. Boot into winmo and make sure that all the android files are extracted to the root of your sd card. then run haret. good luck.. My first boot only took a few minutes and it takes slightly less time now. I have an 8gb sdhc class 6 (i think) card.

What's pathetic is how un organized the forum is, Most of the stickies in the upgrade forum could consolidated into a few stickies, Unlock\Relock & World Radios, Android\Rules

As it is we have a sticky up there for the GSM Android Port, Mods do your thing TWEAK THE FORUM!! optimize it

or you can make an android folder on your sd card from the desktop computer and put all the files in there but make sure u delete another android files before adding the new ones.

be sure that ANY folder that is titled "data" in the root of the SD card is deleted. I was having the same problem. Also inside the zipped file make sure there is not a folder called "data". Delete that folder in both places and then try to run haret again. I'm pretty sure you will have more success. Thats exactly what happened when i deleted the "data" folders.

My first couple of times took too long also (once it was over 2 hours and it never got thru all the way). Here is what I did, I copied all the files off my 2gb sd on to a file on my desktop, formateed my sd card in FAT32, copied all the files from the unzipped HTCTPCDMA... folder into my sd card, ran HaRet after inserting the card back into my phone... and it worked! (load time on first run was about 3-4 minutes, now it loads in about a minute). I then took out the card from my phone and copied all my files (excluding the HTCTPCDMA... folder) back onto my card, and then put the card back in my phone. So far it is working fine, Android is ok (I can make and receive calls in Android, no data yet) and all the other apps on my card for WinMo are working fine too. I sure would love to have a dual boot rom for this. That would be awesome.
By the way, did anyone notice that Android runs better on the stock rom (WinMo 6.1) than on a cooked rom. I have to TP2s with me right now, 1 is running Mighty's 2/4/10 rom and the other sprint stock. I have Android on both, the functionality and integration on the stock rom is almost flawless while the custom rom has hiccups. I wonder why? Any ideas anyone?
